करीम और केदार


करीम
मेरा एक दोस्त हैं जिसका नाम करीम हैं,
उसे लगता हैं मेरी हर ग़ज़ल ताज़ातरीन हैं !
ज़िन्दगी जीने का वो बड़ा शौक़ीन हैं
अल्लाह पर भी उसको बहुत यकीन हैं !
अपने मोहल्ले का वो तबलची नामचीन है
और मीठे से ज्यादा उसको पसंद आता नमकीन हैं !
वो कहता हैं कि मज़हब तो बस जज्बाती ज़मीन हैं
वहाँ खड़े हो जाओ जहा अपना-अपना यकीन हैं !
असल मोहब्बत तो इंसानी भाईचारा और ये सरज़मीन हैं
इससे गद्दारी मतलब खुदा की तौहीन हैं !
मैं जानता हूँ इस मुल्क में ऐसे न जाने कितने करीम हैं
पर उनमे न शामिल अब मेरा दोस्त करीम हैं !
क्युकी कल दंगो में मारा गया करीम हैं
और उसके गम में मेरी ग़ज़ल ग़मगीन हैं |

 

केदार
मेरा एक दोस्त हैं जिसका नाम केदार हैं
वो कहता हैं मेरी हर कविता भगवान का चमत्कार हैं !
दिखने का वो सीधा सा और पेशे से लुहार हैं
मेहनत की रोटी खाता वो आदमी होनहार हैं !
वो मानता हैं कि ये धरम-वरम तो बस बारिश की बौछार हैं
कही भी भीग लो सब कुछ कुदरत का उपहार हैं !
असल प्रेम तो ये मिट्टी और मानवीय सदाचार हैं
इससे वफादारी मतलब भगवान की जयकार हैं !
मैं जानता हूँ इस देश में ऐसे ना जाने कितने केदार हैं
पर उनमे अब ना शामिल मेरा मित्र केदार हैं !
क्योकि कल दंगो में मारा गया केदार हैं
और उसकी कमी से मेरी कविता बेकार हैं !

  1. We lost so many friends(innocent people) in this way only…GOD know how people will learn to cross this boundaries and learn to love each-other…

    नफरत की लपटों में,
    वहशीपन की ज्वाला में ,
    वैमनस्यता की आग में ,
    जल रही है मानवता ,
    सुलग रही है मनुष्यता !!

    इस मलिन विचार को उखाड़ फेको ,
    ये दूषित विचारधारा को निकल फेको ,
    ये नफरत के बीज बोना बंद कर दो ,
    ये रक्तपात और खूनी खेल भी बंद कर दो ,
    ये धार्मिक उन्माद भी बंद कर दो ,
    ये लोगो में सामाजिक जहर घोलना बंद कर दो !!

    जब ये सबको मालूम है कि,
    तुम दोनों एक ही डाल के दो शाख हो ,
    ये बात तुम दोनों को भी मालूम है !

    फिर इतना जुल्म क्यों ?
    फिर इतना वहशीपन क्यों ?
    फिर ये खूनी खेल क्यों ?
    फिर ये धार्मिक उन्माद क्यों ?
    फिर ये मंदिर मस्जिद पे लड़ना क्यों ?
    फिर ये भाई चारे में दुश्मनी क्यों ?

    • Thanks for your words. Its really nice to meet with the person who shares same thinking and same hobby. I am really obliged to see your comments.
      Regarding your poem, it is equally good. You ended with some questions which are putting great impact on reader’s mind. Best line of your poem is तुम दोनों एक ही डाल के दो शाख हो, ये बात तुम दोनों को भी मालूम है !

  3. Dear sister Swapna and brother Sandeep,

    God knows and told people how to cross boundaries and learn to love each other i.e done by not creating boundaries in first place and not dividing humanity for any or other reason. God told humanity is one nation and enemy of humanity is satan who pitches human beings against each other by inciting their basic instincts like love for worldly resources and every other attachment of this world. In fact the Arabic/Hebrew word Shaitan means enemy. When people don’t have idea or forget who the real enemy is, then they start making enemy of each other. Nobody is committing crime deliberately without justification. All get fooled by satan in their own capacities. The way to fight this enemy is to control yourself with the fear that one day you are going to answer/account for your actions to God. That day is called judgement day. To believe in judgement day, you need to believe that world is temporary and will end one day. To believe that world is temporary you need to believe that universe is creation of god not god itself as only God is eternal. So you need to deny all false gods created by human imagination in this universe and worship the One God who created us all without associating any partners to that one God — The God (the associations are imaginations/idols created by people). In Arabic, AL describes the definite article “The” and god is written as ILAH. Hence the word ALLAH. This understanding “No god but The God” is the called the declaration of faith of Islam. This simple and clear unifying teaching is the straight path of Islam. If you can’t accept Islam due to your love for your family, friends, culture, civilization and history then what is the meaning of crying over the riots created by leaders who are exploiting ignorance of masses? Being a common man/woman if you can’t come out of your love for this world how do you expect that people at the top who are actually benefiting from this ignorance will give up their attachments?

    I am quoting a verse of Quran below:

    “Did I not ordain for you, O Children of Adam, that you should not worship Shaitan (Satan). Verily, he is a plain enemy to you.”.. (Verse 36:60)

    Note: The word worship means serving (following). It does not just mean pooja or namaz as generally perceived.

    Some references of Quranic teaching, of all human beings being one family of Adam and Eve:

    “All human beings are a single nation” (Verse 2:213).

    “All human beings are naught but a single nation and yet they disagree” (Verse 10:19).

    “And verily this your nation (human beings) is a single nation” (Verse21:92) and (Verse 23:52).

    For more information, please read quran.com for yourself. This book Quran challenges all human beings to produce a chapter like itself if they doubt that book is not the verbatim word of The God. I am quoting the challenge below:

    And if you are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Qur’an) to Our slave (Muhammad Peace be upon him ), then produce a surah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allah, if you are truthful. [Qur’an 2:23]
